30 years of experience in various disciplines including General Management, Project Finance and Marketing, majority of the span being in the Oil & Gas Pipe Industry.

Since March 2019, he has taken up Vice Chairman role at Jindal Tubular USA with a 30% stake in the company. He is the Chairman of UMSL Ltd, one of the largest construction companies in Odisha. He has found Ferro Tech Group companies which provide services to Oil and Gas, Steel and related industry.

Secured deals for Welspun as major supplier for prestigious pipeline projects like Rex Pipeline –Kinder Morgan, Ruby Pipeline – Elpaso, Key-stone & Keystone XL of TransCanada, Independence Trail Project- the Deepest Off Shore Pipeline Project in the world for Enterprise & many more.

In January 2009, Ferro Tech India Pvt Ltd was started as personal venture to service the Steel Industry, E & P and Energy. Ferro Tech India came into being with 2 offices in Mumbai and Delhi and a work force of 10 people & since then, has started trading & representing for products like Ferro Alloys, Valves etc.

Has a good standing in the global steel industry, including Germany (Thyssen Krupp, Voestalpine, Dillinger), USA, India and China (TISCO, Bao and Anshan) Japan (JFE, Nippon). Has successfully managed 3 JVs with companies from Germany, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

Associated with creation of Welspun pipes in 1996 & played a pivotal role in catapulting Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd (now Welspun Corp) into the Fastest Growing Company in India by achieving over 100% growth It grew on to become World’s 2nd largest Large Diameter Pipe Company by 2007 and achieved sales of over USD 1.25bn with a high market capitalization of over USD 1.7bn

Prashant has over 12 years of professional experience in the Steel Industry including Research and Development, Quality Control and Marketing. He is the General Manager for Teras Piping Solutions - ADNOC approved supplier of Pipes and Piping Products. He reports to Group Chairman and is responsible for Global Oil and Gas Project supplies. Prior to Teras, He has worked with Jindal Stainless Ltd. He has a Bachelor of Technology from IIT-Varansasi (BHU) in Metallurgical Engineering and has Exec. MBA from IIM Calcutta

Marketing Manager

Over 12 years of professional experience in the Global Oil & Gas projects for the supply of pipes as a lead Marketing Manager. He was working in the premiere Indian Pipe manufacturers like Welspun, Man Industries, Maharashtra Seamless before moving to UAE & doing trading of steel products worldwide.

TERAS PIPING SOLUTIONS L.L.C.  (TPS), Abu Dhabi, was established to cater to a wide range of services related to piping requirements in Oil & Gas, Power and Water Sector in  the UAE.
